Vegan, vegetarian and plant-based
The list distinguishes vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, flexitarian and whole-food, plant-based choices. Select the preference that matches how you eat; a general “plant-based” description is not the same as a vegan ingredient requirement.
For an unfamiliar packaged food, check its ingredient information as well as the app’s result.
Gluten-free and dairy-free
Gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free and lactose-free are separate profile choices. If an allergy or intolerance is also relevant, PRO provides a personal allergy editor with alternative ingredient names.
A profile selection is not certification that a product is safe. Read physical labels and check cross-contact warnings.
Keto, low-carb and Mediterranean
The list includes ketogenic / keto, low-carb, Mediterranean, DASH and high-protein options. These names describe the dietary preference you ask the app to consider.
Use the result alongside the actual product information and your personal nutritional needs. The app does not promise weight loss or certify that a diet is suitable for you.
Low-FODMAP and condition-related diets
Low-FODMAP, IBS-friendly, reflux-friendly and renal / kidney-friendly profiles are available. They can be combined with relevant health-condition selections in PRO.
Restrictive diets may need professional support. Read Cambridge University Hospitals’ low-FODMAP guidance.
