Your food. Your profile.

Food checks for your health conditions

Food choices can involve more than a single diet label. Good4Me? lets you select your health conditions and apply that profile when you photograph a food, upload an image or type its name.

The Free version includes one health condition and three food checks a day. PRO lets you select up to five conditions and add special diets, age, life stages and personal allergies or intolerances.

Type 2 diabetes and prediabetes

The condition list includes type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes and prediabetes as separate choices. Select your own condition rather than treating all diabetes profiles as interchangeable.

PRO also includes a diabetic / carbohydrate-counting diet option. Food checks provide information; they do not calculate medication doses or replace your diabetes care plan.

IBS, reflux and digestive conditions

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux / GERD, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis appear separately in the profile. PRO diet choices include low-FODMAP, reflux-friendly and Crohn’s / IBD-friendly options.

Choose a diet with professional guidance when needed. A condition name alone cannot establish which foods you personally tolerate.

Coeliac disease and food labels

Coeliac disease appears as “Celiac Disease” in the app’s condition list. PRO includes gluten-free and wheat-free as separate diet choices.

Do not rely on a photograph to establish that a food is gluten-free. Check the actual label and preparation details. Read the NHS guidance on coeliac disease and gluten-free food.

Heart, cholesterol and kidney profiles

High blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic kidney disease and kidney-stone subtypes are available in the condition list. Diet options include DASH, low-sodium, cholesterol-conscious and renal / kidney-friendly.

These are profile options, not a recommendation that every diet suits everyone with the condition. Keep following your clinician’s individual advice.

Information to support your decisions

Good4Me? provides general information, not medical advice. It does not diagnose or treat health conditions, replace your healthcare professional, or guarantee that a food is safe. A photo or food name cannot establish every ingredient or how food was prepared. Read the actual label and ask about preparation and cross-contact when relevant.

Being listed here means a profile option is available; it does not mean that the diet is medically recommended or clinically validated for you. Read our evidence and safety policy.
